1. INTRODUCTION

Welcome to Famli, an innovative fintech platform designed to empower families in managing, growing, and transferring their wealth across generations. By accessing or using our website, and/or mobile application (collectively, “Famli Platform”), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these terms of use (“Terms”).

These Terms set out the rights and obligations that govern your interaction with Famli on the platform, forming a legally binding agreement between you (“User”, “client” or “you”) and Famli Technology Products Private Limited (“Famli,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing Famli Platform, completing the registration process, or clicking on a button or checkbox indicating your acceptance (such as “I Accept“, “Agree” or similar consent mechanism), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by all the Terms contained herein. You acknowledge and agree that accessing or using the Famli Platform and/or availing Services (as defined below), including registration, execution of these Terms, or consents entered into or given electronically, constitute valid and legal electronic records as per the Information Technology Act, 2000. Such electronic records shall be deemed equivalent to signed physical agreements and shall have full legal effect. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not access or use Famli Platform.

These Terms constitute the agreement governing your access to and use of the Famli Platform and Services. Any future offerings, features, or services introduced by Famli may be governed by additional terms, disclosures, or agreements, as applicable, which will be made available to users separately and only upon explicit acceptance.

2. SCOPE OF SERVICES

Famli currently operates as a financial information, research, and technology platform that enables users to organize, analyze, and better understand their personal and family financial data.

The Services include:

  • Financial data aggregation and visualization tools
  • Educational content and explanations of financial concepts
  • Research, comparison, and scenario-analysis tools
  • AI-powered insights designed to support financial awareness and decision-making
At present, all information, insights, outputs, and analyses provided through the platform are general, educational, and informational in nature. They are intended to support research, understanding, and evaluation of financial concepts and options and are not tailored to any individual user’s circumstances.
Famli operates solely as a technology and information platform and does not undertake discretionary decision-making on behalf of users or assume responsibility for user actions or outcomes.

Users acknowledge that:

  • The platform is intended to support research, education, and evaluation of options, not to replace professional advice.
  • Any financial decisions taken based on platform outputs are made solely at the user’s discretion and risk.
  • Users should consult appropriately licensed professionals before acting on any information obtained through the Services.
  • Certain features of the platform may use artificial intelligence or automated systems to generate responses, insights, or summaries. Such outputs are based on available data, predefined logic, and probabilistic models, and do not represent human judgment or regulated advice unless expressly stated otherwise in writing.
Famli is committed to the privacy of its users, and it is compliant with the data security laws. All data collection, access, storage, processing, and sharing of such data will be in accordance with the Privacy Policy .

3. USER ELIGIBILITY AND ACCOUNT REGISTRATION

  1. Eligibility and Access to the Platform

    To access and use the Services offered through the Famli platform, you must meet the following eligibility criteria and agree to the conditions set out below:

      1. Eligibility
        You represent and warrant that you are at least 18 (eighteen) years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872 and other applicable laws of India.

      2. Account Registration
        Certain features of the Services may require you to create a user account on the Famli platform. During registration or subsequent use of the platform, you may be required to provide personal, financial, and identification information, including but not limited to your name, address, date of birth, Permanent Account Number (PAN), contact details, bank account details (including statements), dematerialised account details, biometric authentication data (if enabled on your device), financial goals, and such other information as may be required for lawful operation of the platform or to enable specific features.

        Accounts created using automated means, bots, false identities, or by individuals who do not meet the eligibility requirements under these Terms are not permitted and may be suspended or terminated without prior notice.

      3. Security of Account Credentials
        You will access your Famli account using your registered mobile number and a one-time password (OTP), with an option to enable biometric authentication (such as fingerprint or facial recognition) on supported devices. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account credentials and for all activities carried out through your account.

        If your device is lost, stolen, or compromised, you must immediately take reasonable steps to secure your account, including blocking your SIM card, logging out of active sessions, and notifying Famli at support@famlilife.com with relevant details. While Famli may use commercially reasonable efforts to assist with account security, it shall not be responsible for any loss, fraud, or unauthorized activity arising from the use of your valid credentials, including where such activity results from your failure to adequately safeguard your access information.

      4. One Account Per User
        Each individual is permitted to maintain only one (1) user account on the Famli platform. Famli reserves the right to suspend or terminate duplicate, fraudulent, or misused accounts at its discretion.

  2. Consent to Data Collection and Use

    By completing the registration process and accessing or using the Famli platform, you expressly consent to the collection, storage, processing, and use of your information in accordance with these Terms and the Famli Privacy Policy.

4. USER OBLIGATIONS AND CODE OF CONDUCT

  1. By accessing or using Famli Platform, you agree to the following obligations and standards of conduct:

      1. Accuracy of Information: You agree to provide information that is true, accurate, complete, and up to date when using the Famli platform. This includes, without limitation, personal information, financial information, account details, asset or liability information, and credit-related information such as existing credit facilities, credit applications, and credit history, where such information is required to enable platform features, data analysis, research tools, compliance checks, or lawful operation of the Services. If you experience any difficulty accessing your information, or if you wish to update or delete the information you have provided, you may contact Famli at support@famlilife.com. You are responsible for promptly updating any changes to your account or contact information. Famli will rely on the most recent information provided by you for the operation of the Services.

      2. Credit Information Collection: Famli may collect, process, and analyze financial and credit-related information through manual inputs provided by you and, where applicable and with your consent, through authorized third-party service providers or automated verification systems, where applicable and with your consent. Such information may be used to enable platform functionality, generate insights, perform analytics, support research and educational features, and maintain compliance with applicable laws and internal policies.

      3. Responsible Use: Famli is to be used only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to engage in any activity that could harm, disrupt, overload, or impair the operation or security of Famli Platform or any networks connected to Famli.

      4. Prohibited Conduct: You must not:
        • Misrepresent your identity or impersonate any person or entity.
        • Attempt unauthorized access to any part or feature of Famli Platform, or any other systems or networks connected to the Famli Platform.
        • Use Famli Platform for any unlawful, fraudulent, or malicious purpose, or for transmitting material that is abusive, threatening, defamatory, pornographic, vulgar, offensive, or otherwise objectionable.
        • Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of Services, or reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code, except as expressly permitted by applicable law.
        • Post, upload, or transmit any content that infringes upon third-party intellectual property rights or other proprietary rights.
        •  Circumvent or disable any security features or technological measures employed by Famli or its Third Party Partners.
        • Use any automated means, including, but not limited to, bots, scripts, or other devices, to access, monitor, or interact with Famli Platform without prior written authorization.
        • Register multiple accounts for the same individual or operate an account on behalf of another person without clear authorization.

      5. Safeguarding Access: You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and all activities under your account. You must promptly inform Famli of any known or suspected unauthorized use of your account or any breach of security.

      6. Compliance with Law: You agree to comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and regulatory guidelines in connection with your access and use of Famli Platform, including but not limited to data protection, information technology, financial services, and other applicable regulatory requirements.

      7. Respect for Other Users: You must interact respectfully with other users and representatives of Famli and may not stalk, harass, abuse, or otherwise infringe on the rights of any other person while using Famli Platform.

  2. Famli reserves the right to investigate and take appropriate legal action against anyone who, in Famli’s sole discretion, violates these Terms, including removing offending content, suspending or terminating accounts, and reporting such activity to the relevant governmental authorities.

5. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITY AND LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY

  1. User Responsibility
    All decisions and actions taken by you based on your use of the Famli platform, including any information, insights, analyses, tools, content, or outputs made available through the Services, are taken at your sole discretion and responsibility. You are responsible for independently evaluating the relevance, accuracy, and suitability of any information obtained through the platform in light of your individual circumstances before acting upon it.

  2. No Assurances or Guarantees
    You acknowledge and agree that Famli does not provide any assurance, representation, or guarantee regarding outcomes, results, or performance. Famli does not guarantee profits, prevent losses, or warrant that any financial, personal, or other objectives will be achieved. Outcomes may vary due to factors including, but not limited to, market conditions, tax treatment, regulatory changes, data limitations, system availability, or technological constraints.

    Famli shall not be liable for any direct or indirect loss, damage, or adverse consequence arising from your use of, or reliance on, the platform, its content, or Services, except to the extent required under applicable law.

6. SERVICE FEES AND PAYMENT TERMS

  1. The Famli platform and its Services are currently made available to users without charge. Famli reserves the right, at its discretion, to introduce fees, subscriptions, paid features, or other charges for certain Services in the future. Any such fees or charges, if introduced, will be disclosed to users in advance and governed by updated terms, policies, or separate agreements, as applicable. Continued use of paid features after such disclosure shall constitute acceptance of the applicable terms.

  2. To the extent that the Famli platform enables transaction-related features or integrations with third-party providers, you agree that any transactions initiated by you shall be conducted solely through bank accounts, dematerialised accounts, or payment instruments that are lawfully registered in your own name.

    You shall not use the Famli platform for any activity that violates the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002, applicable anti-money laundering regulations, or any other laws or regulatory requirements. You agree to comply with all applicable Know Your Customer (KYC), verification, and documentation requirements that may be mandated by law or required by Famli or its third-party partners to enable lawful operation of the platform or related features.

7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

  1. All content, technology, software, and materials made available through the Famli platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, data compilations, user interfaces, designs, workflows, algorithms, and underlying source code, are the sole and exclusive property of Famli or its licensors and are protected under applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws of India and other applicable jurisdictions.

  2. Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to access and use Famli Platform solely for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms. Except as expressly permitted, you may not reproduce, distribute, modify, publish, display, perform, create derivative works from, transmit, or otherwise exploit any part of Famli Platform and/or Services being provided without prior written consent from Famli.

  3. You retain ownership of any content or information you upload or submit through Famli Platform. By submitting such content, you grant Famli a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, display, and distribute that content solely for the purposes of complying with applicable laws and providing Services to you, including operating, maintaining, securing, improving, and enhancing the Famli Platform, enabling platform features, performing analytics, and complying with applicable legal and regulatory requirements, subject to our Privacy Policy.

  4. Any unauthorized use of Famli’s intellectual property or misuse of Famli Platform and/or Services may result in immediate suspension or termination of your user account and may invite legal action.

8. THIRD PARTY PARTNER

  1. To provide and enhance our Services, Famli may use the services of and engage third-party service providers (“Third Party Partners”). This includes but not limited to:

      1. Working with authorized third-party service providers and sub-processors who assist us in securely collecting, verifying, and updating certain information with your explicit consent. This may include, where applicable, limited credit-related information such as credit scores, credit attributes, or verification signals obtained from credit information or verification partners (for example, Digitap or similar providers).

        Such information may be used solely to enable platform functionality, user verification, analytics, risk indicators, fraud prevention, and other lawful operational purposes within the Famli platform. Any sharing or processing of data with third-party service providers is governed by contractual confidentiality, data protection, and security obligations and is conducted strictly in accordance with applicable laws and the Famli Privacy Policy.

        Your information is used only for the purpose of operating, maintaining, and improving the Services you access on the Famli platform..

      2. For providing SMS, email alerts, WhatsApp messages, push notifications, OTPs etc. However, these are dependent on various factors, including the infrastructure and network connectivity of Third Party Partners. Famli does not guarantee the accuracy, readability, or timely delivery of such communications and shall not be held liable for any non-delivery, delay, distortion, or failure in transmission of any message or alert.

      3. You acknowledge and agree that the Famli platform functions solely as a technology facilitator for certain features and integrations made available through the platform and does not itself provide regulated financial, banking, or transactional services. Where applicable, the execution of services such as payments, remittances, or other financial transactions is carried out by third-party banks, financial institutions, or service providers that are duly licensed or authorized under applicable law. Your use of such features is subject to the separate terms, conditions, and policies of the relevant third-party service providers. By accessing or using these features through the Famli platform, you authorize Famli to share necessary and relevant information with such third-party partners solely to enable the requested functionality or transaction. Famli shall not be responsible or liable for any delay, failure, error, or issue arising from the performance or non-performance of services by third-party providers, including but not limited to regulatory delays, transaction rejections, processing errors, foreign exchange rate variations, system outages, or other matters beyond Famli’s direct control in its role as a technology facilitator..

  2. By using our Services, you agree to provide your explicit consent to your data being shared with our Third Party Partners as described herein and detailed further in our Privacy Policy. We shall not be held liable for any penalties, losses, or damages you may incur due to the actions or negligence of any Third Party Partners.

9. DISCLAIMERS AND WARRANTY

  1. The Famli platform and Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. While reasonable efforts are made to maintain the functionality, accuracy, integrity, and security of the platform, Famli makes no representations or warranties, express or implied, regarding the completeness, accuracy, reliability, suitability, availability, or timeliness of the Services or any content, information, or materials made available through the platform.

  2. Any information, insights, tools, analyses, or content made available through the Famli platform are provided for general informational and educational purposes only. Famli does not guarantee outcomes, results, or the achievement of any objectives, and disclaims all liability arising from reliance on the platform or its content to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

  3. Any interactions, communications, or engagements between you and third-party service providers accessed through or linked from the Famli platform are independent of Famli. Famli does not act as an agent, representative, or intermediary of such third parties and shall not be responsible or liable for any loss, damage, cost, or claim arising from your dealings with third-party providers. Famli does not endorse, warrant, or guarantee any third-party products or services.

  4. Certain features of the Famli platform may generate content, responses, summaries, or insights using artificial intelligence, machine learning models, or automated systems. Such outputs are generated based on available data and predefined logic and may contain inaccuracies, omissions, or limitations. Famli makes no warranties regarding the accuracy or completeness of such content and disclaims liability for actions taken based on automated or AI-generated outputs.

  5. The Famli platform may include chat-based interfaces, automated tools, or system-generated responses that operate on programmed logic and may not fully address complex, nuanced, or user-specific situations. The platform may be subject to interruptions, delays, errors, or technical failures due to factors beyond Famli’s control, and Famli shall not be liable for any resulting impact.

  6. The Famli platform may contain links to or integrations with third-party websites, applications, or services provided solely for convenience. Such third-party services are not owned, controlled, or operated by Famli, and Famli makes no representations or warranties regarding their security, functionality, availability, or accuracy. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk.

  7. Famli does not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from viruses or other harmful components, or that any defects will be corrected.

  8. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, neither Famli, its affiliates, nor their respective directors, officers, employees, or agents shall be liable for any loss, damage, or harm arising from good-faith actions, system decisions, or the use or inability to use the Famli platform or Services.

  9. Any gesture of goodwill by Famli, including credits, refunds, or service adjustments, is voluntary and made without prejudice and shall not be construed as an admission of fault, liability, or obligation. Such gestures do not create any entitlement to future claims or remedies.

  10. Some jurisdictions may not permit certain exclusions or limitations of warranties or liability. In such cases, the above exclusions and limitations shall apply to the maximum extent permitted under applicable law.

10. INDEMNIFICATION, AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

  1. In no event shall Famli or its affiliates, directors, employees, associates, partners, or services provider will be liable to you for any loss or damage that may cause or arise from or in relation to these Terms or due to use of Famli Platform or arising from or in relation to your access to or use of the Famli Platform, Services, or any features, tools, or content made available through the platform or availing any product or services from any Third Party Partners.

  2. You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Famli, its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, partners, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to:
    1. Your access to or use of Famli Platform or availing of Services;
    2. Your violation of these Terms or any applicable law or regulation;
    3. Any false, inaccurate, or misleading information provided by you;
    4. Any act, neglect, misconduct or fraud on your part
    5. Any unauthorized, improper, illegal use of your account, delays by banks in effecting the instruction for the transactions; and/or
    6. Your infringement of any rights of a third party, including but not limited to intellectual property rights and data privacy rights.

  3. This indemnification obligation survives the termination or expiration of your Famli account and these Terms.

11. TERMINATION AND SUSPENSION OF SERVICES

    1. Famli reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to suspend or terminate your access to Services and Famli Platform, without prior notice, if:

      a) You breach or violate these Terms or any applicable law or regulation;
      b) Famli suspects fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful activity associated with your account;
      c) Required by regulatory or legal authorities;

      d) Famli is discontinuing or materially modifying its services.

    2. Upon termination or suspension, your right to use Services and access to Famli Platform will immediately cease. You may also lose access to any information or content associated with your account. Termination or suspension of access is without prejudice to any other rights or remedies Famli may have under law or equity.

    3. You may discontinue using Services at any time by following the designated procedures to close your account.

    4. Any provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination, including, but not limited to, intellectual property rights, indemnification, disclaimers, and limitation of liability, will continue to apply even after your use of Services has ended.

12. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

These Terms, together with any other policies, guidelines, or agreements referenced herein (including the Privacy Policy), constitute the entire agreement between you and Famli with respect to your use of Famli Platform and availing of Services. These Terms supersede any previous communications, arrangements, or understandings between you and Famli, whether written or oral, relating to the subject matter herein.

13. CONTACT INFORMATION

    1. Famli, its employees, authorised agents and Third Party Partners may contact you via phone, email, SMS, or other electronic communication channels for matters related to your registration, account activity, platform features, communications, updates, or other specified and non-specified purposes. By using Famli Platform and availing Services, you consent to receive such communications, even if your number is registered with the Do Not Disturb (DND) or National Do Not Call (NDNC) registry, or National Customer Preference Register (NCPR).

    2. You acknowledge that if your mobile number is registered on the DND list maintained by TRAI, you may not receive SMS communications from Famli. You agree to take necessary steps to deregister from the DND list if you wish to receive SMS communications and shall not hold Famli liable for non-receipt of SMS due to DND registration.

    3. If you wish to opt out of some or all such communications or to delete your account, you may do so through the mobile application or by contacting us at support@famlilife.com.

14. GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL MECHANISM

Famli is committed to ensuring that your concerns are addressed in a timely and fair manner. If you have any grievances related to the services provided, we request that you first contact our designated grievance officer at support@famlilife.com. We are committed to acknowledging complaints promptly and will strive to provide a resolution at the earliest possible.

If you are not satisfied with the resolution, you may escalate the matter to the appropriate authorities as specified under the relevant laws. If you are not satisfied with our resolution, or if a complaint is not addressed within the specified timeline, you are entitled to escalate the matter through the SEBI Complaints Redress System (SCORES), which can be accessed at https://scores.gov.in.

15. MISCELLANEOUS

    1. Governing laws

      These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles. By using Famli Platform, you agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of Famli Platform or availing Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Mumbai, India.

      We request you to first contact our support at support@famlilife.com or grievance redressal mechanism as provided in the above clause 13 in the event of any dispute or concern, so we may attempt to resolve issues amicably. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be referred to and finally resolved by the courts as specified above.

    2. Severability

      If any provision of these Terms, or part thereof, is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be enforced to the fullest extent permitted by law to reflect the intent of the parties. The remaining provisions of these Terms shall continue in full force and effect.

    3. Assignment

      Famli may assign, transfer, or subcontract its rights or obligations under these Terms to any third party at any time, without requiring your prior consent or providing further notice. You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms, or subcontract any part of your obligations, to any other person or entity without Famli’s prior written approval.

    4. Waiver

      A delay or failure by Famli to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not be deemed a waiver of such right or provision. Any single or partial exercise of any right or remedy will not prevent further exercise of that or any other right or remedy under these Terms.

    5. Force Majeure

      The Famli shall not be liable for any failure or delay in fulfilling its obligations under these Terms due to a Force Majeure event. During such events, its obligations shall remain suspended for the duration of the disruption. A “Force Majeure Event” includes any circumstance beyond the Famli’s reasonable control such as system unavailability, change in law, cyberattacks, data breaches, natural disasters, fire, flood, war, civil unrest, strikes, government actions, lockdowns, power outages, or telecommunication/network failures. The Famli disclaims any liability for data loss, service interruption, or non-performance arising directly or indirectly from Force Majeure Events.

    6. Survival

      Termination or expiration of these Terms shall not affect any provision which is intended to survive, including but not limited to clauses on Client Responsibility and Limitations of Liability, Indemnification, and Limitation of Liability, Disclaimers and Warranty, Intellectual Property Rights, Grievance Redressal Mechanism, and Governing Laws. Any rights or obligations which, by their nature or context, are intended to survive termination shall remain in effect.

    7. Modification

      Famli reserves the right to change, amend, or modify these Terms and any provision related to the Famli Platform and Services at any time and at our sole discretion, including changing the extent and scope of Services or adding new categories, services, facilities, or features. Any such changes shall be effective immediately upon posting of the revised Terms on the Famli Platform and may be notified to you through the Famli Platform or other communication channels. You can determine when these Terms were last revised by referring to the “Last Updated” date at the top of these Terms. Your continued access to or use of the Famli Platform following any modifications shall constitute your binding acceptance of such revised Terms. If you do not agree with any changes, your sole remedy is to discontinue use of the Famli Platform and Services. Your use and access of the Famli Platform and Services is subject to the most recent version of these Terms available on the Famli Platform at the time of such use.
